Description
What does this measure refer to and what is its objective?
Following, or in parallel to signing a MOU, it is recommended to arrange visits by the police and other external entities responding organizations to rail infrastructure, installations and OCCs, to improve their understanding of rail equipment and arrangements.

These visits provide an excellent opportunity for front line staff to explain the problems faced when an incident occurs, e.g. safety implications with traction current isolation, passengers in heavily delayed trains seeking to alight between stations, and the potentially widespread ‘knock on’ impact on operations and passengers.
